Johns Hopkins Awards

                                Three 8th grade Bellamy REACH students were identified by the Johns Hopkins University
                        Center for Talented Youth and took the SATs in January.  The results have been finalized
                        with all three students qualifying for honors. 

                        Haleigh Scott received a Letter of Distinction for the Reading section of the SATs,

                        Tatyana Sereda received a Letter of Distinction for the Math portion of the SATs,

                        and Danielle Dobosz received a Letter of Distinction for both Math and Reading. 

                       To achieve a Letter of Distinction, students have
                        to score equal or above the scoring average of college-bound seniors.

                        Danielle Dobosz also qualified for a State Award with High Honors for her Reading score.
 
                        The state presentation of the 2008 CTY Awards Ceremony will take place at Worcester
                        State College on Saturday, May 10th.
